We saw our history, our people, our culture. We had emotional feelings and experienced Israel….and these feelings are still with us to this day Some of the people we met on the trip are still friends And there is our tour guide, Uri Mor. The ease he had to connect with all the people from different walks of life on this tour was flawless. He gave us the individual attention when warranted and was there for us a group. His knowledge, NO his love of Israel was remarkable, If he didn’t have an answer to a question, he didn’t say I don’t know…he said I’ll get back to you and he did. He knew the restaurants to eat ate when we had free nights and was able to arrange those “difficult” reservations.

My husband and I spent more than a week traveling with Uri around Israel with our two teenaged kids (14and 15) this past winter break. Uri’s extensive knowledge of history and ability to tell a great story, made this the most memorable trip of our lives. He always knew exactly the right restaurant to recommend and the right amount of time to devote to each stop on our tour. In particular, his ability to guide us through Yad Vashem in a way that was educational and emotional, but not overwhelming to our children, was much appreciated.
